Comprehensive ADHD Evaluations
Every evaluation is tailored to the individual — whether you are an adult seeking answers for the first time, or a parent concerned about your child's issues with attention and learning.
What is a psychological evaluation for ADHD?
An ADHD evaluation is a structured clinical process that goes beyond a simple checklist. It combines a detailed personal history, standardized cognitive and behavioral testing, and careful clinical interpretation to determine whether ADHD is present — and if so, how it is affecting your daily life.
Adults
Adult ADHD Evaluation
Many adults have lived with undiagnosed ADHD for decades — managing symptoms through sheer effort, developing workarounds, or simply assuming they are not trying hard enough. An evaluation provides an objective, evidence-based answer.
What's Included
- Clinical intake interview covering developmental, academic, and occupational history
- Standardized cognitive testing (attention, memory, processing speed, executive functioning)
- Self-report and collateral rating scales
- Review of prior records when available
- Comprehensive written report with diagnosis and recommendations
- Feedback session to review findings and answer questions
A Good Fit If…
Adults who struggle with focus, organization, time management, or follow-through — especially those who have wondered whether ADHD might explain longstanding patterns.
Children & Teens
Child & Adolescent ADHD Evaluation
For children and teens, ADHD often shows up in the classroom, at home, or in social situations. An evaluation clarifies what's happening and provides the documentation needed to access school accommodations and appropriate support.
What's Included
- Clinical intake with parents and the child or teen
- Standardized cognitive and achievement testing
- Parent and teacher rating scales
- Review of school records and prior evaluations
- Comprehensive written report with diagnosis and school recommendations
- Feedback session with parents (and the child or teen, as appropriate)
A Good Fit If…
Children and teens experiencing academic difficulties, behavioral concerns, or attention challenges — and families seeking documentation for school accommodations or IEP support.
